A professor from the Aalborg University in Denmark has made
a proposal to government officials to show porn in public schools. The professor,
who is an expert in sexology says it is important for kids to distinguish
between porn and actual sex. The professor also thinks that introducing porn
into the school curriculum will make sex education exciting for students.
If you have ever watched hardcore porn, there are a lot of
fantastic scenes that seem to be enjoyable but are actually unrealistic,
painful and impossible to imitate in the bedroom. This is what the professor
wants every kid to know before engaging in such acts. The aim is to lower the
expectations during love-making and accept that porn is just the fantastic
imagination of the industry that does not and can never exist in normal sex life.
Porn stars make money out of porn, the movies are made purely for entertainment.
It is easy to see how anyone can ruin their sex life by watching porn and
adapting the practices in the bedroom.First, porn gives you a false idea of
what good sex is like, when you try to imitate the acts, you will be
disappointed because it’s not so pleasurable as it seems. You might start to
blame your partner for not being sex savvy, leading to a breakup or you will
start cheating on your partner, in your quest to experience that elusive
feeling which porn is supposed to satisfy.
The sexology professor, Christian Graugaard has his proposal
bolstered by studies which show that over 99% of Danish boys and more than 86%
of Danish girls are watching porn anyway. This is an overwhelming majority that
cannot be ignored, almost all Danish teenagers are watching porn.
The local Danish broadcaster DR, went to find out from the
kids after interviewing Professor Christian Graugaard, it turns out the school
kids are interested in the proposal. Of course this should be expected, what
kind of kid would say No.
To wrap it up, it is important to note that Denmark is a
very progressive country, it was the first country to legalize porn when the
rest of the world was banning it. A survey taken in 2014 revealed that 75% of
men and 33% of women in Denmark watch pornography.
Denmark is not alone in trying to incorporate porn into the
school education system but other European countries like Sweden and the United
Kingdom are also pursuing the goal.
